Winston Churchill once described Uganda as the Pearl of Africa but most of us have a mental picture of it as it was under Idi Amin; a burned-out shell of a country. Well it\u2019s not that any more. It\u2019s stable, friendly and very rich in wildlife. I will be living close to the Bwindi Impenetrable Reserve, a mountainous area where the Mountain Gorillas (of Dian Fossey\u2019s Gorillas in the Mist fame) live.
